Hello, we’re The Bronze.

“Measured and beautiful” Tom Robinson, BBC 6Music, Jan 2015

The Bronze are a band from York who make subtly affecting acoustic songs, which you can slow dance or have meaningful conversations to.

Through Holly’s early solo beginnings learning her craft at acoustic nights across the UK and Chris’ various attempts to conquer the world through many emo-screamo bands, the pair met and teamed up in 2009 and started to make beautiful music. Their name, ‘The Bronze’, came in August 2014 to recognise their solidarity as a duo and to coincide with the release of their newest full length album of the same name.

BBC 6Music airplay from Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 2 airplay from Steve Lamacq and Sir Bob Harris, relentless touring in the UK and many firm friends met along the way; The Bronze will take you, cast their own unique spell and leave you stunned into silence (that’s the kind of audience they like).
